The book is an amazing adventure that leads kids through an imaginary world that seems all too realistic. Carrying on to the other books is always expected. If there were only one book in the world it would have to be this book as it shows guidance. The lion, Aslan, shows everyone that the person that will help you may be scary and big but is generous and kind on the inside.
Quotes about The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
If you are lucky enough to find your way into Narnia, you will discover that it is a wonderful place for adventures of all kinds, with animals and fairy creatures of all kinds. But, be careful how you behave while you are in Narnia because you will have to account for all your doings!---Unknown
C.S. Lewis pioneered a new kind of fantasy when he wrote "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" -- the kind where people from our world somehow get swept into another one. It's old stuff now, but Lewis was among the first to attempt such a thing. Because of its originality, and despite some rather hamhanded allegory, it remains a charmingly written, classic story.--E.A. Solinas
This is an Alice in Wonderland / Through the Looking Glass type of fairy tale adventure story for all ages, as told by a favorite Sunday school teacher with a strict biblical syllabus.--Amanda Richards
